In the now familiar ‘Then and Now’ style, Ramsey covers the action from Normandy and then across Northern Europe, from D-day to the final German surrender in May of 1945. However this title takes a unique approach to the normal “Then and Now” format in using the daily communiqués from the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force, or SHAEF, press corps. As we have come to expect ,Ramsey and his team have made fine job of co-ordinating photos with accompanying text.
