Details A true cult-classic guitar: this is a 1983 Yamaha SG1000 model. It’s a double-cutaway solidbody guitar (and a hefty one at that) full of looks and tone! The 1000 has set-neck construction, loaded with Yamaha humbuckers, and gold hardware with Grover tuners. The guitar’s in very good condition; there’s pick scratches mixed with dents and dings around the body, some finish clouding around the headstock and minimal fretwear – you can tell the frets have been leveled at some point. There’s a washer added to the truss rod to get some more mobility to straighten the neck out – the guitar is playing wonderfully and includes a leather gigbag.
